The University of Bamberg researches CASTL’s Homo Augmentus concept
In his newly published book “Entfesselte Intelligenz” (also available as an audiobook on Audible and Google Books), Castl CEO Marnus Flatz coined the following phrase
used the term “Homo Augmentus” for the first time. Marnus is referring to the time from 2040 onwards, when he believes the use of exoskeletons will become more widespread,
BCIs (Brain Computer Interfaces) and augmented reality devices will become “mainstream”. Researchers have now also coined the term
Homo Augmentus discovered for himself.
In a news article from the University of Bamberg, German AI pioneer Prof. Dr. Dietrich Dörner refers to the book
“Unleashed intelligence”. Under the title “The Rise of Homo Augmentus”, the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize winner calls for
scientific psychology on the discourse on the psychological impact of augmented reality
Devices and AI on and in the human body.
